DOOM: The Dark Ages Releases for Advanced Access

Announced back on the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase 2024, DOOM: The Dark Ages is the highly anticipated third entry into the DOOM remaster, following DOOM Eternal. Set back in time, wield heavy medieval weaponry to fight back the demon onslaught on Earth, including all-new mech gameplay to fight against gargantuan, kaiju-sized demons.

A new title by Bethesda is always a big thing in the industry, and though many are still knee-deep in Cyrodiil for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, those who prefer more action-packed, shooting gameplay will be enjoying DOOM: The Dark Ages. It's already part of the #2 top-sellers on Steam and still sits at #9 top wishlists, so it's nothing to scoff at, and that's only counting its Steam release.

You can join in on the fun already by partaking in the Advanced Access early access bonus and begin your adventure early. DOOM: The Dark Ages' Premium Edition lets players get started in the adventure early on, but it comes at the hefty price of £99.99 — only you can be the judge on whether the Advanced Access opportunity is worth that price.

For those who aren't jumping into the Advanced Access early, DOOM: The Dark Ages will be coming out on the 15th of May 2025.
