When is Steam's Summer Sale for 2025?

One of the greatest things about PC gaming has always been the accessibility in terms of discounts and prices. While computers might cost a fair bit — especially with the newfangled AI cards that companies like NVIDIA are pushing — you can make up a lot of the upfront cost in sales.

The biggest bringer of discounts is none other than the Lord Gaben himself (the PC sphere's pet name for Gabe Newell), as Valve's Steam platform brings thousands of deals at prices that — quite frankly — sound like a scam. From new AAA titles (like the promised first Black Myth: Wukong discount) to oldies but goldies, discounts ranging from 15–90% are par for the course on everyone's choice launcher.

So, summer is here, and we're all twiddling our thumbs; what gives, Valve? While the Steam Fishing Fest may have thrown you for a loop, the good news is that the Summer Sale will be arriving relatively soon despite everyone's favourite sport-turned-mini-game sale.

The official launch of the Steam Summer Sale is set to be on the 26th of June 2025.
